Landlord And Tenant

The passing of the Residential Tenancies Act 2004, which involved the setting up of the Private Residential Tenancies Board, has radically changed the private letting property market in Ireland. In order to have the full protection of the law, landlords have duties and obligations under this legislation. Whether you are a landlord or a tenant, we can advise you fully on how to protect your interests.

Commercial Leases

This area of law continues to evolve and change. The recent Miscellaneous Provisions Act of 2008 provides solutions to the longstanding problem of short term commercial tenancies exceeding 5 years creating entitlements to long term leases for tenants. This new act allows tenants to renounce their entitlement to long leases allowing them to stay in possession on foot of renewed short term leases.

We can give advice in the following areas:

Private residential leases
Commercial leases
Recovery of unpaid rent
Compliance with Residential Tenancies Act 2004
